HomeCallNetwork

Pest work starts with identification. Ants, cockroaches, termites, and rodents are different jobs, and a spray chosen for the wrong insect wastes the visit. Ask what was found, where it was found, and what will be applied.

HomeCallNetwork does not apply pesticides. Product labels and state applicator rules govern the work. A directory page is not a diagnosis of an infestation.

Service types

General household pests

Ants, cockroaches, spiders, and other insects commonly treated inside or at the perimeter.

Questions to ask

  • What species was identified, and how?
  • Which products are proposed, and are they labeled for that use?
  • What preparation do you need to do before the visit?

Termites

Inspections and treatment plans for subterranean or drywood termites, depending on the region.

Questions to ask

  • Was evidence of termites found, or is this a preventive bid?
  • Is the proposal a liquid treatment, bait, fumigation, or a spot treatment?
  • What warranty is offered, and what voids it?

Rodents

Mice and rats: entry points, sanitation, and trapping or exclusion.

Questions to ask

  • Where are the entry points, and is exclusion included or only trapping?
  • How will droppings and nesting material be handled?
  • What follow-up visits are included if activity continues?

Recurring service plans

A schedule of return visits. Read what a missed pest and a callback actually include.

Questions to ask

  • How often is the visit, and what is inspected each time?
  • Are callbacks between visits included?
  • How do you cancel, and is the plan billed monthly or annually?

For homeowners

  • Ask for the target pest in writing. A general perimeter spray is not the same proposal as a termite treatment.
  • Exclusion, sanitation, and moisture repair often matter as much as the product that is applied.
  • If a company claims a structure is free of termites, ask what kind of inspection supports that sentence.

Questions

Can this site identify the insect from a description?

No. Identification needs a person who can see the evidence. Do not treat from a directory page.

Are listed companies licensed applicators?

A page on this site is not a license check. Confirm the company's credentials with the state agency that regulates pesticide application.
